Parade of Ponds - July 19th & 20th, 2008
Lizer Landscaping has been an industry leader in pond design, maintenance, and installation in the Green Bay area for almost a decade. Lizer was the first to host a water gardening tour in the greater Green Bay area. The sixth annual Parade of Ponds will be held July 19th and 20th. Over 20 homeowners and corporations will graciously open up their properties so others can experience the joys and beauty of water gardening. Water gardens are the hottest growing trend in landscaping today, according to the American Nurseryman Association, and the newest rage for homeowners.

The Parade of Ponds is a two-day, self-guided tour offering a variety of some of the most spectacular ponds and landscapes in the Green Bay area. The tour begins on Saturday, July 19th, and is open from 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine.

Pond owners kindly open up their yards and find talking with tour goers to be very gratifying. “ My husband and I are very excited to meet with others and introduce them to the wonderful world of water gardening, that I am now hooked on,” says Laura Kuehl of DePere, WI. They have a true backyard paradise! This pond not only entices the homeowners to enjoy it any time of day, but neighbors, friends, and family all gravitate to the tranquility of pond. |
