8th Annual Parade of Ponds
Garden Tour...
Has been canceled... please
read on.
We
were really looking forward to this years event, but...
Due to some unforeseen
circumstances, our 'Parade of Ponds Tour' is being put on hold for the 2010
season. This is not a permanent cancellation of the event, only a
temporary blip in a quite illustrious fund-raiser.
Over the years, we
have been very proud to bring you this event and open up the world of water
gardening to a whole generation of gardeners. Unfortunately, with the poor
economic condition, we have lost too many of our corporate partners and seen too
much of a decline in attendance to make the event feasible this year.
However...
Our team is rigorously
brainstorming different ways to increase our attendance and give our Garden Tour
a face lift. We plan to be back in 2011, "Fresh as a
Daisy," with a bright, new direction to invigorate the area garden
enthusiasts to come out once again. Any and all of your suggestions and
feedback would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime,
Lizer will be donating all of our marketing dollars from
the 2010 Parade of Ponds Tour to the NEW Zoo Children's Pond Renovation
Fund. This is a great cause and we highly recommend that, if possible, you
provide a financial contribution to them as well.
Thank you for your
support, and Happy Gardening in 2010!

Frank Lloyd Wright's "Falling Water," Mill
Run, PA
(Sorry, not in this year's walk, but a beautiful inspiration for us all!)

Be sure to reserve a spot on your calendar for
this awesome charity event! All ticket proceeds from this years
benefit will be used to enhance the water features at the NEW Zoo.
The Parade of Ponds is
perfect for the water garden enthusiast or someone looking to get out and see
beautiful private ponds, babbling brooks, and the peace and tranquility that
comes from having a water feature. We are scheduled to have 15 of
Northeast Wisconsin's premier ponds on this years tour. Designers, pond
contractors and proud pond owners will be on hand to answer your questions and
"show off" their works of art.
